A romantic château wedding in the South of France, where warm light, historic stone walls, and long summer evenings create an atmosphere that feels both elegant and deeply personal. This wedding at Château du Puits es Pratx was not about perfection — it was about presence, connection, and the quiet beauty of moments unfolding naturally.

Château Du Puits Es Pratx: A Dream Wedding Venue in France
Château du Puits es Pratx is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the South of France, located near Narbonne in the Occitanie region.
It is especially suited for:
- destination weddings in France
- multi-day celebrations
- intimate and elegant château weddings
Its combination of historic architecture, natural surroundings, and soft Mediterranean light makes it an ideal setting for couples looking for a refined yet relaxed atmosphere.
My approach to wedding photography is calm, observant, and editorial.
I focus on capturing the atmosphere of the day as it truly feels — without forced poses, without interrupting the flow, allowing you to stay fully immersed in your wedding experience.

Evening Portraits in Soft Light
Though the sky was overcast and the sun never made its golden hour appearance, the soft diffused light created an atmosphere of intimacy and romance. Instead of chasing sunlight, we embraced the mood.We took a quiet walk through the vineyards and around the grounds, allowing the couple some peaceful time together. The result? A series of gentle, soft portraits that feel like a secret whispered between two people in love. These kinds of conditions can actually be incredibly flattering—the light is even and there’s a sense of calm and harmony that’s perfect for reflective moments after the ceremony.
A Courtyard Celebration Under the Stars
Dinner was held in the château’s magnificent courtyard, framed by greenery and strung with warm lights. Laughter and music filled the air, local wines flowed freely, and guests shared stories and toasts in both English and French.Later, the celebration moved into the restored wine hall for dancing. The old stone walls and vaulted ceiling created the perfect setting for a night of joy, music, and movement. One of my favorite images from the day is of the groom & bride twirling under the fairy lights—pure magic.
