Behind the camera
I am Eugénie Smirnova, a wedding and elopement photographer based in Southwest France, working with international couples who choose historic venues for their atmosphere, discretion and sense of place.
Having photographed weddings across château estates and destination locations, I understand how architecture, light and timing shape the rhythm of a wedding day. My role is to work quietly within that structure — anticipating moments rather than directing them — so the experience feels seamless, natural and unforced.
