Rachel and Giles travelled from Britain to marry at Château de Saint-Martory, a timeless estate in the countryside of Southwest France, within easy reach of Toulouse. Theirs was a warm, joyful destination wedding, personal in every detail, from a friend who led their ceremony to flowers they carried with them from home. Couples across the UK dream of a château wedding in France, and Saint-Martory is exactly the kind of place where that dream feels effortless.
Getting Married at Château de Saint-Martory
Château de Saint-Martory sits in the countryside of Southwest France, within easy reach of Toulouse. Its timeless architecture and elegant interiors make it a beautiful setting for a destination wedding, whether the day spills out onto the grounds or gathers close and intimate inside.

The Bride’s Signature Room
Rachel got ready in one of the most striking rooms I have ever photographed a bride in: the château’s own signature room, a space quite unlike anywhere else on the estate. It gave the morning a real sense of occasion, and lent the preparation portraits a character that could only have belonged to Château de Saint-Martory. Rooms like this are part of what makes a château wedding feel singular, a setting with its own story before the day even begins.

If you’re considering a wedding in the South of France, don’t let a little rain deter you. Sometimes, it’s the unexpected elements that create the most beautiful memories.
